Richard T. Herman, graduated from Case Western Reserve University Law School in 1993, passed the Ohio Bar Exam, and promptly boarded an Aeroflot plane to live and work in Moscow, Russia, a country he had never before visited.

Mr. Herman helped establish a thriving American law practice, located 2 blocks from the Kremlin, serving the new post-Soviet entrepreneurs looking to the U.S. for business expansion and immigration. After an almost 2 year stay in Russia, Mr. Herman returned to his hometown, Cleveland, Ohio to form Richard T. Herman & Associates. Mr. Herman started the firm as a one-person office. The firm now has three full-time attorneys, one of-counsel attorney, and five support staff.

Mr. Herman's colleagues in the firm are renowned lawyers licensed overseas and in the U.S. Vania Stefanova, Esq. (who was featured in Crain's Cleveland Business as one of Cleveland's top Immigrant Professionals) heads the firm's Deportation Defense Division, formerly served as legal counsel to the Government of Bulgaria and is fluent in five languages. Charmaine Rozario, Esq. heads the firm's Business Immigration Division. Prior to joining our firm, Ms. Rozario served as immigration counsel to one of the top 20 software companies in the United States and is fluent in Hindi and conversant in Arabic and French. Richard Seman, Esq. serves as of-counsel on the firm's personal injury, employment and criminal litigation.

The firm strives to be the "one-stop shop" law office for the growing number of immigrant and minorities across the country.
